Welcome to Count Text ("we", "our", or "the application"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have complete transparency regarding how our application handles your data.
Zero Server Data Collection on Your Text: All text entered, counted, or analyzed inside Count Text is processed 100% locally in device volatile memory. Your text is NEVER uploaded, transmitted, logged, or stored on Firebase or any remote server.
No Accounts, No Sensitive Permissions
Count Text is engineered as a clean, standalone text counting utility:
- No User Registration or Login: You do not need to create an account, provide an email, or sign in to use Count Text.
- No Sensitive Permissions: Count Text does NOT request or access camera, microphone, device storage, contacts, location, or biometric sensors.
- Standard Clipboard API: Copying text utilizes standard Android system clipboard functionality without requiring disk storage permissions.
Third-Party Services & Advertising
To keep the application free and deliver real-time remote configuration updates, we integrate the following verified Google developer services:
- Google AdMob: Serves banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. AdMob may collect pseudonymous device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID) and crash/diagnostic logs to serve policy-compliant advertising.
- Firebase Remote Config & Cloud Firestore: Used solely to fetch app configuration, feature flags, maintenance status, and ad placements. No personal user data is ever sent to Firestore from end-users.
